We have a ways to go BUT…
WE HAVE MET THE CHALLENGE MATCH!
The $100,000 Challenge Match, that is!
As you may know, a very generous donor offered CCEH a $100,000 Challenge Match toward our $1M fundraising goal for Safe Spaces II. Not only did we meet that $100K mark, we exceeded it, thanks to the support of this wonderful community. What’s even more exciting is that this donor agreed to increase the amount of the Match to $120,000 when they learned The Unitarian Universalist Church of Concord was holding a special fundraising drive to participate in the Match!
With the incredible response from our community, CCEH’s Safe Spaces II: The Next Step campaign has surpassed the half-way mark toward its goal of raising $1M by 2022! We will use these funds to operate all our programs for 3 years; pay for the development of the Green Street Apartments which will be ready in December 2020; and have “seed money” for the next development project – we hope you can join us in taking the Next Step in ending homelessness in our community by contributing toward our $1M fundraising goal.
JOIN US AS WE TAKE THE NEXT STEP IN ENDING HOMELESSNESS IN OUR COMMUNITY
“Ending homelessness in our community is one of my top priorities. The Concord Coalition to End Homelessness is taking another giant step toward this goal, and I am reaching out for your support. To learn more, please join us at this event.” Byron Champlin, Honorary Chair Safe Spaces II
We couldn’t agree more and are honored to have Byron’s support. We think this video about one of CCEH’s guests who we were able to house through our Housing First Program speaks to the value of the work of CCEH and our goal of ending homelessness in the greater Concord area: Davian’s Story
To donate to our Safe Spaces II: The Next Step campaign today:
CCEH is committed to ending homelessness in Concord because we believe that every person has value, and ending homelessness is absolutely possible. Our first Safe Spaces campaign in 2017, a huge success, provided sufficient funds to build the life-saving Emergency Winter Shelter and support all of our programs for three years.
Now we’re asking you to take The Next Step toward ending homelessness in Greater Concord.
Donations to Safe Spaces II: The Next Step allowed us to purchase a downtown building and renovate it into four apartments, providing safe and supported housing to people who have lived in shelters, cars and the woods. Donations will also keep our essential programs operating for another three years, as well as provide seed money for future projects.
